ACMA launches Australia & India Chapters to spread Asia footprint

Asia's largest Content Marketing industry association ACMA, announced launch of its two new chapters in Australia & India. Headquartered in Singapore, ACMA is looking to expand its footprint in more Asian markets this year. Asia Content Marketing Association is a non-profit organisation of marketing, creative, publishing and media professionals committed to improving professional development in content marketing in the Asia Pacific region. 

Talking about the newly added chapters, RP Singh - Chairperson of ACMA, comments, "We have seen great success with our Singapore chapter with members actively involved in ACMA activities on a regular basis. There was a lot of interest coming from more markets and we decided these two edition for 2020 plans to start with. Based on more interest from other countries, we may look at opening more country specific chapters going forward.

ACMA is also setting up new boards for all 3 chapters while some of the existing board members may still continue to serve in their Advisory Board roles. It plans to have a more wholesome board having representation from different stakeholders in the Content Ecosystem such as Brands, Agency Partners, Publishers, Tech Platforms, Individual Content Creators, etc. 

Talking about ACMA activities planned this year, RP Singh suggests, "We plan to do both small & large scale events, physical & virtual, launch a content certification program and help form some industry standards for Content Marketing as a discipline. Everyone has their own definition of Content Marketing today which is an issue at industry level. Hopefully, we should be able to bring everyone on the same page on some important aspects concerning Content Marketing.
